President Yoweri Museveni believes real oversight is provided by God, not MPs.
President Museveni was the chief guest at the prayer breakfast organised by Parliament at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
The President in his speech dismissed: “When you talk about oversight, do not think about these MPs, think about God because he is the real oversight. God is looking at you, seeing whatever lie you tell and whatever you do.”
He then tipped: “What you sow, is what you reap. If you can not be trusted with the small, you can not be trusted with the big.”
President Museveni on the economy stated: “We made two decisions in 2007; To increase expenditure on the roads and to increase expenditure on electricity. Our economy had started going down because we delayed Bujagali but now it is going up.”
