The Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has asked president Museveni to better use the money he splashes on Kampala streets to stop ‘PeoplePower’ and help the needy who die every day.
Commenting on the recent incident of Budada landslides where many lives have been lost, Bobi Wine tweeted saying that government should use taxpayers’ money to save their lives than throwing it anyhow trying to stop People Power.
Ugandans would be more grateful if their hard earned money was invested in helping such vulnerable Ugandans than having billions thrown around trying to stop #PeoplePower. We should step back and reflect on how to value the life of every citizen. pic.twitter.com/x3wnAu7BEu

Over 40 Ugandans, including children, have so far been confirmed dead as a result of the most recent mudslides in Bududa district, Eastern Uganda, on the foothills of Mount Elgon. I send heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased…. pic.twitter.com/s0x87pop51

…each time, government promises to put measures in place to prevent such tragedies; well until the next time it happens and another promise is made. The solution lies in us having the right priorities. pic.twitter.com/8VBU9ECS35
