Police this morning stormed Bativa hotel, near Makerere ,and prematurely stopped a press conference organized by the new formation, claiming the hotel management was not aware of the arrangement, especially their agenda.
Abed Bwanika, former presidential candidate, labored to explain to the police, but his pleas fell on deaf ears as they were thrown out of the hotel.

The team was bundled out trying to talk to journalists about their stand on the the torture and brutality inflicted on Yusuf Kawooya who was on Thursday last week arrested near Christ the King church, in Kampala.
IN A RELATED DEVELOPMENT, The Special Forces Command (SFC) has described as “defamatory” and “abusive” claims by opposition leader, Dr Kizza Besigye that gunmen who were filmed beating up Kawooya, broad day light were from the SFC.
The men used the gun butts to hit Kawooya’s stomach, sparking a huge public outcry.
Asked whether they were involved in the Kawooya saga, SFC Spokesperson Capt Omara said “none of those people have ever been in SFC.
Omara said as a Historical Member of the National Resistance Army (NRA) High Command, Dr Besigye knows the history of the unit whose duties include making the Commander-in-Chief secure.
