Two weeks ago Ye had a controversial meeting at the White House with President Trump, days later he flew to Uganda with his wife Kim Kardashian to patch up his delayed 9th studio album “Yandhi”.
During his visit to Uganda he surprisingly visited President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe and pictures of him handing over a pair of his own Yeezy brand sneakers made rounds on social media, with a number of Ugandans raising eyebrows over the motive of his visit.
Kanye’s latest tweets come as a worry to Uganda’s State Tourism Minister Godfrey Kiwanda who announced that the 41 year old singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer, will jet into the country early next year to take up a tourism ambassadorial role.
Minister Kiwanda made the announcement while launching the Tulambule Uganda Christmas Festive Campaign, aimed at ensuring that more Ugandans visit their country at highly discounted rates.
West’s Visit will come after Zari Hassan is named the tourism ambassador; on a boat ride in Queen Elizabeth National Park on November 8 this year, according to minister Kiwanda.
