After holding successful ‘Kyarenga’ Concert in Busabala on October 10th, Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine thought he was free to appear on stage and do what he does best BUT the police disagrees.
Police in Gulu District yesterday blocked much anticipated concert ‘Kyarenga’ Extra at Smiling Panda claiming the organizers never got clearance from them to hold the concert.
Fans donning red berets stormed the venue hoping to watch the People Power supremo perfom only to see the Anti-riot police officers ordering them to vacate the venue.
In other related development, Bobi wine and 34 others are expected to appear before the Magistrate’s court in Gulu day for mention of their case in which they are accused of stoning President Museveni’s car in Arua Municipality on August 13.
The accused will appear before his worship Isaac Kintu at 9am according to Henry Komakech Kilama one of the defense lawyers.
