BUL FC 1-0 Express FC

Muhindo Kambale scored in extra time for BUL FC to run away with all three in new Express FC head George Ssemwogerere’s first assignment for the struggling club.

Express FC fired Kefa Kisala week ended and replaced him with Ssimu after series of below par results, last nail in the coffin being the 0-2 loss to Police FC at Wankulukuku.

The game which appeared to be heading for a barren draw saw Kambale pick on a loose ball from the outside of the Express FC goal area, burt into the box before unleashing a shot that Mathias Muwanga parried back before the BUL FC striker who made no mistake to hit the back of the net.

Ssimu, a club legend did not use any of his strikers for the better part of the game with Brian Umony coming on in the 87th minute for Joel Male who was handed a rare start.

Tony Odur was not on the bench either. New boy Frank Zaga Tumwesigye did not find space in the team both on and the bench.

Ssimu’s next assignment is against pretenders Nyamityoboora away on Tuesday.
