1.Bebe Cool

Bobi Wine

Admit it or not Bebe Cool had a huge influence in getting Bobi Wine out of the ghettos. Bebe Cool claims that at one time, he was recording in Eddy Yawe’s Dream Studios and Bobi approached him for some tips on music and the rest is history.

Jose Chameleone
He is arguably the biggest musician to ever grace Uganda’s music industry but still Bebe Cool claims he had the first hand in his hustle and rise to stardom.

Rema Namakula
Rema was Bebe Cool’s backup singer. She gained experience and managed to make a breakthrough as a solo artiste.

Irene Ntale
Irene Ntale was a simple girl who used to play her guitar at gigs at no cost until Bebe Cool hit studio with her to produce a song which changed her life and career forever.

Dizzy nuts, Denzel International, Kiwooko boys, Edith K

2. Bobi Wine

Eddy Kenzo
Yes. Eddy Kenzo was a ghetto boy with nothing when Bobi Wine took him in. He gave him free recording sessions that produced his breakthrough song with Nubian Li and the rest is history.

Miki Wine
What would this man be without Bobi Wine?
We doubt he can live a day without Bobi Wine.

Nubian Li
We simply refer to him as Bobi Wine’s nyongeza. No Bobi Wine no Nubian Li.

Sizza Diktionary
At the start of the current decade, Sizza Diktionary was a big hit thanks to Bobi Wine. But he terribly faded after leaving Firebase

Bucha man
While in Firebase, Butcherman was very famous compared to his calibre. He would atleast get bookings of 100K and all this was because of Bobi Wine’s influence.
He later quit Firebase and terribly faded. Currently his bookings are worth just 1 stick of weed.

Others;

Master Parrot, Dikhanio, Phantom Lovins, Kabaya

3. Jose Chameleone

Radio and Weasel
These two were Jose Chameleone’s backup singers. They used his fame and influence as a ladder to become stars. Chameleone gave them everything from shelter to food to free recording sessions to collabos inorder to see them breakthrough.

Pallaso.
Formely known as Mr. Lizard, Pallaso was nothing in the music industry. It was his brother Jose Chameleone that rescued him. He gave him all the possible support to make him a success.

King Saha
Many of you have gotten to know Saha recently after outing hits.
Saha was Jose Chameleone’s ‘kido’ for years while he operated a ‘kikumi kikumi’ shop in Nagalama.
It was during this time that Saha managed to get a chance of recording a song for the very first time hence a stepping stone to his breakthrough.

Yung Mulo
Yung Mulo was a street kid in Seguku. Jose Chameleone picked him and decided to recruit him as a helper. It was at this juncture that Mulo got access to studio to out his first song.

Others;

Mr. X, Papa Cidy, Melody, Ak47,Chagga

However, Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone  would not have produced such a huge list of big stars if Ragga Dee had not made a breakthrough. Probably they would also be in the village treating jigger infection. This is because the “letter o” hitmaker paved a way for them after championing a tranformation from ‘kadongo kamu’ to the current trend of music
