It was gigantic fun and excitement on Friday evening at the Smirnoff Ice Green Apple
Campus Carnival held at Kyambogo University East end pitch.
The students who had just concluded noisy and stressful Guild election campaigns and
voting had the perfect opportunity to wash off the fatigue and welcome the weekend in
style.


The Carnival was full of fun and free goodies.
Usually the organizers open gates to the event by 7pm, but this was not the case as the
party kicked off at 6pm with DJ Ali Breezy on stage playing the latest selections to the
joy of early revelers at the pitch.
By 8pm, the pitch was full to capacity.


the students were also treated to exciting and energetic performances by the night’s
lined up artistes.
Geo Steady opened the night with his latest hit ‘Finally’ which left revelers raising dust
from the dry pitch. Nina Roz, dressed in all black with a golden hat and orange shoes
took to the stage to perform her hit songs Anayinama and Olumya Bano. The most
exciting performance of the Night was by John Blaq popularly known for his song
Tukwatagane.


The carnival organized in partnership with Campus Bee was aimed at taking a fresh, fun
and high energy Smirnoff Ice Green Apple experience to Campusers. The next stop will
be Mbarara.
