Real Madrid’s long-publicised swoop for Eden Hazard is set to come to a close after the two clubs have finally agreed a transfer fee that suits both parties.
The Spanish giants’ interest in Hazard has been well-documented with the forward himself revealing he wish to leave Chelsea this summer.
And according to the Guardian, his wish is set to be granted in a £88.5million deal.
The publication adds that while the fee has been agreed at that price, it could in fact rise with add-one included.
Hazard has one-year left on his current contract at Chelsea and has turned down overtures by them to extend his deal beyond 2020.
The 28-year-old will leave Stamford Bridge on a high after scoring twice in their Europa League 4-1 final win over Arsenal.
Immediately after the final whistle, Hazard confirmed his intention to quit Stamford Bridge ahead of next season to join Real.
