Stella Nyanzi has been attacked for exposing her nakedness in public.

Stella bared her breasts and screamed obscenities to the presiding magistrate in court after she was handed 18 months for insulting the person of President Yoweri Museveni on social media platform, Facebook.

NRM Women’s League chairperson Lydia Wanyoto has lambasted the academic for exposing her breasts but, claims she is not surprised.

Wanyoto during a talk show on NBS TV on Tuesday morning, fired: “If they want lawlessness, they’d have to pay an ultimate price. Maybe the Serunkumas have taken long without seeing naked women. This can be arranged but in a private setting.”

She went on: “Stella Nyanzi started getting naked from Makerere where she was still in academia. The university tabled their concerns. People are cheering her but not joining her. This isn’t informed by serious grievances.”

Wanyoto regretted: “Whenever she opens up her body to the public, I feel naked as well, our bodies are private spheres. Many of us feel objectified.”

She blasted: “If you want to remove President Museveni, wait for the campaigns and win the vote. The issue of showing distress by undressing isn’t working. Let’s see how the naked Stella will take power.”

Wanyoto revealed: “It’s not the first time Stella Nyanzi has undressed. It is sad because our bodies are sacred. She is a mother and a trainer. Ugandans have a right to show displeasure but no right to stamp on other people’s rights.”

She tipped: “I’m offended because I’m a mother. There are other ways of showing displeasure, by doing that, she has brought all of us down as women, as mothers.”
