Drama ensued at the Kampala central police station Thursday when a couple blew up in a verbal fight and exchanged blows in front of police officers at the Child and Family Protection Unit, where they had gone to solve their domestic wrangles.

A one Sadat Kawuma , aged 35 who is accused of neglecting his three children, was too angry to the extent that he gave his wife hot slaps and kicked her like a ball, accusing her of washing her dirty linen in public.

Burning with anger, Sadat argued that their family matters are none of police business.

The story took a different twist as Sadat ended up being arrested for assault. The Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson Patrick Onyango condemns the act;
