KCCA Fc are all set to depart the country ahead of their return leg with Algerian side Paradou this Sunday in Algeria.
Manager Mike Mutebi is hopeful his side will return to Kampala with success.
After a goalless draw in the first leg, KCCA need atleast a one all draw to reach the CAF Confederations Cup group stages where they last appeared in 2017 after eliminating Egyptian side Al-Masry in penalties.

“We are going to Algeria to try win the game and get the results we want, it is a tricky result for us given the goalless draw in Kampala, we are going to play our way with the intention of picking the results in Algiers” Mutebi noted.
“We are going to Algeria to try win the game and get the results we want, it is a tricky result for us given the goalless draw in Kampala, we are going to play our way with the intention of picking the results in Algiers” Tactician Mutebi.
“We are going to attack and score goals and there is nothing questionable about. We respect the opposition side but we are going to finalize the job”
Our way is attacking and when we score it will pile more pressure on the opponents. Paradou is not going to park the bus because they will want to open up and score goals but this will also help us play our way.

About the team news ahead of Algeria trip, midfielder Allan Okello and defender Mustafa Kizza were the only doubts but hopefully they will be in good conditions to play on Sunday.
“If we do not progress to the group stages this will be a failed campaign because our aim was to make it to the champions league group stages or the Confederations Cup” Mutebi added.
The team will be leaving Uganda tonight aboard Fly Emirates and will reach Algeria tomorrow at around 2pm EAT with a stop over in Dubai.
Mike Kirunga, the club’s Finance manager, already left the country for Algeria to book accommodation for the club.
For the first time, head of Public Relations at KCCA Fc Magero Moses and Graphics manager Ivan Turatunga won’t travel with the team.
Junior team graduate Musa Ramathan will travel with the team after acquiring travel documents.
