Wakiso Giants has today ended the services of coach Kefa Kisala. This comes shortly after the Wakiso based club lost 3-0 to the visiting Express Fc in Startimes Uganda Premier League.
Kefa Kisala was handed the responsibilities of Wakiso Giants at the start of the 2019/20 season after the team was promoted to the top tier league.
The former Uganda Cranes left winger has coached Uganda Revenue Authority, Masaka Local Council, Bul Fc, Express Fc, Iganga Town Council, Wakiso Giants among others.
Kisala, a former Express and KCCA Fc player Kefa Kisala leaves Wakiso Giants in 10th place with 13 points out of the 11 games with four wins, a draw and six losses.
It should be noted that Express Fc fired Kisala in the middle of last season under unknown circumstances.
Kisala failed to show up for the post match press conference at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium on Saturday and it was later revealed that the two parties had parted ways.
It is also reported that the club Chief Executive Officer Sula Kamoga wanted Kisala to come for the post match presser and announce his resignation.
Express Fc’s defeat was Wakiso’s sixth loss in 11 outings and their heaviest since their inception last season.
Kisala was sacked by Express after their 2-0 loss to Police Fc last season and was replaced by George Ssemwogerere.
