13th placed Mbarara City host 14th Bright Stars at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara in an early battle against relegation.

Mbarara City lost their last game in the western derby 1-0 to Tooro United at St. Paul’s seminary Fort Portal.

This fixture comes days after Bright Stars securing their maiden win against Onduparaka fc thanks to Muhammad Kyeyune’s sole strike.

Mbarara City will look to Paul Mucurezi, Hillary Mukundane and Brian Ahebwa to help them earn maximum points.

Muhammad Kisseka will put his trust in Ronald Nkonge, Joseph Janjali and Enock Walusimbi to guide his side to a second consecutive win.

Despite maximum points, Mbarara City can not leave the 13th position but increase points from nine to twelve.

Bright Stars can leave the relegation zone leapfrogging Mbarara City if they manage to collect all the three points.
