Tooro United is to host Proline Fc in the Startimes Uganda Premier League today at the St. Paul National Seminary playground in Fort Portal as both teams to bounce back to winning ways.
For starters, Tooro United lost their previous game 4-1 away to sports club Villa in Bombo and hence seek maximum points at home.
However, Proline will also be in search for their first away win in the season having faltered in their previous two away games against Kyetume fc and Wakiso Giants Fc.
They get into this game after a disappointing 0-2 defeat to Libyan outfit Am Nasr in the CAF Confederation Cup last weekend and hence seek a morale boasting result.
Prior to this affair, the visitors will do without former Tooro United midfielder Mahad Yaya Kakooza and Alfred Leku who are both injured.
Intelligent midfieder Bright Anukani is also out as he was assigned to national duty with the Uganda Cranes that left for the Cranes tour in Katakwi.
The last time both sides met was in the Pilsner Super Eight tournament at Lugogo with Tooro winning 1-0 thanks to a Godfrey Lwesibawa strike.
“We are here for a purpose and that is to win, we have talked to the players following our exit at the continent and they are focussed and ready for the encounter.” Proline Fc assistant coach Baker Mbowa said prior to the game.
The visiting side is yet to register a point this season after FUFA Competition’s disciplinary panel deducted six points and six goals after they failed to honor their home fixture against Sports Club Villa despite registering two wins this season both coming at home against Express and Onduparaka.
Tooro currently sit in 12th place with 12 points from 12 games while Proline sit at the bottom with no point from eight games.

Tooro United will base their hopes in Godfrey Lwesibawa and John Byamukama while Proline will rely on Edrisa Lubega and Diego Kiiza who are expected to lead their hunt for goal.
Since the departure of headcoach Wasswa Bbosa, the club ne the tutelage of assistant coach Eric Ndifuna.
The hosts will mainly bank on home support in FortPortal which also did the magic when they over came Mbarara City.
