Uganda Cranes registered a 2-0 home win against Visiting Malawi during the AFCON 2021 group B qualifier played at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Sunday 17th November 2019.
Okwi’s goal arrived in the 29th minute and Bayo scored the second in the 68th minute. A month back, Magogo temporarily stepped a side to permit investigations on him by FIFA over the sale of World Cup tickets. He announced all this while in Adjuman district during the 95th FUFA ordinary assembly.
Players were led by the Uganda Cranes Denis Masinde Onyango together with the Cranes vice captain Hassan Wasswa Mawanda alongside the scorer of the day on the scoreline Emmanuel Anold Okwi.

These players went along with once the Cranes media officer Fred Katende Malibu the following day on Monday immediately after the Cranes game.
Uganda Cranes now has four points from two matches as Malawi who beat South Sudan in the opener remains on three points.
The game marked Uganda Cranes’ return to Namboole after 366 days when Uganda hosted Cape Verde in the AFCON 2019 qualifiers.
