Police at Central Police station Kampala (CPS), have thrown behind bars six suspects and impounded 20 suspected stolen motorcycles.
Luke Owesigirye the Kampala Deputy Metropolitan Police Spokesperson says this follows alongside Flying Squad and 999 responses team on Tuesday evening along Kisenyi along Ring Road in Central Kampala after a tip-off by intelligence agencies.

The thugs currently detained at CPS Kampala are Assumani Sitakage, Muhagizi Daus Ssegirinya Haby, Muwesi Ismail, Faruk Ssekyedu and Kawuki Gibson.
According to Owesigirye, the suspected thugs were arrested to help Police with investigations after claims that the shop they operate is being used as a base for buying and selling suspected stolen motorcycles.
The suspected thieves are being held on charges of being in possession of suspected stolen properties. ”We appeal to members of the public that if your motorcycle was stolen come to CPS Kampala and cross-check with Flying Squad.”He said.
