About a fortnight, a self claimed “Musajja Wa Bwiino” trended on Galaxy Fm as he announced resignation from chairmanship at Big league debutants Katwe United.

A decision considered to be premature by many simply because of political ambitions.

The reasons for his resignation from the post he held for not more than 2000 days were not clearly stated.

Galaxyfm.co.ug has come to discover that the reasons behind the honourable’s resignation were the indiscipline acts presented by the fans in a home fixture where Katwe United lost 1-2 against Paidha Black Angels.

Back to the drawing board, a group led by former club chairman Kibirige Hassan raised a petition signed by 142 fans in a quest for a second chance from the Makindye West Legislator.

In a meeting held at Katwe play grounds on Friday evening, Allan Ssewanyana confessed being a strong fan of the beautiful game but the main reason behind his resignation was to settle clash with Moses Magogo which he bragged positive after the minister of Education and Sports Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni had earlier in the day tasked the Inspector General of Government to investigate on the matters arising.

The Tuli Banyiivu chairman ended by taking oath to take on the responsibilities as he previously did to save Ugandan Football.
