Police in Rubaga is investigating circumstances under which a monster Man mercilessly chopped off the head of his wife.  Both are residents of Musajja-Alumba, Rubaga Division, in Kampala City.

It is alleged that the heartless Joseph Mpuluriza engaged in a domestic brawl with his wife Sharon Kansiime on Wednesday night before using a machete to perform the gruesome act on her.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, says reasons for the scuffle are still unknown reasons, however, residents heard Kansiime screaming and rushed to the couple’s home but were shocked to find her head and body already badly separated.

Onyango said the angry and residents pounced on Mpuluriza, beat him to a pulp before police rescued him. Mpuluriza was rushed to Mulago hospital in a critical condition and is still under police guard of police.

Onyango has cautioned the public against taking the law into their own hands in mob action. He noted that in the event that Mpuluriza dies, the motive and cause of the incident will stay unknown.

Criminal Records of 2018 show 14,450 people were killed or injured through domestic wrangles across the country. Of these, 210,478 were female adults, 873 were male adults, and 541 were male juveniles and 558 female juveniles.
