Police in Nansana have arrested a 23-year-old Monster Man accused of defiling a 3-year-old girl at Yesu Amala Zone.
Fred Enanga the Police mouthpiece says psycho Denis Lubega has been charged with aggravated defilement.
The cold-hearted incident happened in Nansana municipality, where Lubega was caught live in the act by area residents after a long search for the child by her parents. The minor went missing at about 2 pm on Monday.
Enanga says the girl was found in a horrifying state with blood oozing from her private parts in the bushes. She was immediately taken to Mulago Hospital where she has undergone surgery.
Enanga commended the residents of Yesu Amala for their efforts in rescuing the girl and helping police to arrest the suspect.
The Police Spokesperson says similar cases have been recorded in Wakiso and Mpigi districts with four girls aged three to six years being defiled in the past five days alone.
Police have also expressed worry over the increasing cases of defilement across the country. They have now called for collective efforts from community members in bringing the suspects to book.
