There was a shock in Bulenga B village Wakiso district after a local welder got electrocuted to death on Thursday.
Patrick Onyango the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson identified the deceased as one Alex Makumbi 42 years and a resident of Lukuli village in Makindye division Kampala.
It is alleged that the deceased was on his way to a construction site in the vicinity to fix a gate belonging to Dr. Doreen Chris when the metallic iron bar he was carrying on his shoulder collided with a live three-phase electricity wire shocking and ending his life on the spot.
Onyango says the body has been taken to City mortuary for a post-mortem report as investigations continue.
