President Yoweri Museveni is expected to convey his New Year national address on Tuesday, December 31, that will broadcast live on majority television and radio stations across the country.
According to the statehouse, Museveni will address the nation from his country home in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district between 5-6 PM.
The Senior Presidential Press Secretary, Don Wanyama, said Museveni will lecture on matters of “national importance” notably the achievements in 2019, developments in the dairy sector farming and the government’s plans for 2020.
Museveni is also anticipated to talk about the state of crime, and the current uneasy political situation in the country among others.
