The Kabale Catholic Diocese is still shocked at the sudden demise of their priest who was discovered dead in a USA hotel room on Wednesday.
Rev Fr. Dr. Vincent Musabyimana had gone on holiday to the USA when he when the fateful incident occurred. His lifeless body was discovered on the day of his departure by someone who came to pick him up.
Dr. Jerome Mugisha, the Medical Director of Mutolere Hospital and brother to the deceased says it’s not clear what led to the priest’s death although investigations are currently ongoing.
The diocesan communications department has also promised to provide details as soon as something comes up.
Fr Musabyimana was ordained a priest on 01. 09. 1996.
Kabale Diocese was erected on 17th April 1966, being separated from Mbarara Diocese which up to 1956 formed part of the Apostolic Vicariate of Rwenzori.
Kabale is a suffragan Diocese within the Archdiocese of Mbarara since 1999.
