Seasoned journalist Solomon Serwanjja has apparently quit NBS TV, according to an inside source.

The Komla Dumor award joins the likes of Raymond Mujuni, Joseph Sabiiti and Sheila Tusiime Mugisha among others to leave the Kamwokya based TV station.

It is alleged that the news anchor who has already tendered in his resignation letter to NBS is joining one of the major broadcasting networks in Nairobi, Kenya.

A source which prefers anonymity further tipped us that this week will be Sserwanja’s last to appear on the station’s screen.

Last night he was in Kenya streaming live, giving updates about the deadly and horny locusts which have now invaded the country.

It should be noted that within a space of less than a month, NBS has lost some of it top gems including the head of creatives DJ Bush Baby who rejoined Vision Group and Mujuni who rejoined Nation Media Group last week.

“This Friday is my last day working with the Next Media Group. It has been an amazing two years & three months working with each of you to build, grow and maintain the brand Next Media as Uganda’s biggest media franchise,” Mujuni posted on his social media platforms last week.

“I have enjoyed working and building this dream mostly with the Investigations Desk and our news profile. I have also done this severally with Next Radio and NilePost where I have been a show host/producer and columnist concurrently,” he added.
