There is a belief that every entertainer who meets the President ‘eats’. Not after Bebe Cool and Salvado came out and revealed that Kololo Airstrip was given to them for free.

So when Eddy Kenzo announced that he was having his festival at Kololo Airstrip, it was hard to believe that he was not granted Kololo for free. He said otherwise: “Despite all the hardships, I cleared the venue for my festival happening on March 28 this year.

I didn’t get it for free. I paid 30 millions shillings…” he confirmed.

Kenzo further stated that he decided to distance himself from politics for the sake of his family and that is why he didn’t even attempt to get Kololo for free. Asked why he settled for the airstrip then, Kenzo said he hopes to have two helicopters and a kid’s play area.

The Big Talent boss intends to give back to his fans with lots of goodies like motorbikes, school fees, cookers and other stuffs.
