There is a belief that every entertainer who meets the President ‘eats’. Not after Bebe Cool and Salvado came out and revealed that Kololo Airstrip was given to them for free.
So when Eddy Kenzo announced that he was having his festival at Kololo Airstrip, it was hard to believe that he was not granted Kololo for free. He said otherwise: “Despite all the hardships, I cleared the venue for my festival happening on March 28 this year.
However that alone could not erase doubts for critics. Since then they have made it a habit politicizing the festival and even threatening to boycott it.
Now the Big Talent chief through the Festival organizer (Luba Investments) has provided all payment receipts and agreement for the gigantic venue.
Luba Investments swiftly provided the copy of the request they sent in and URA receipts clearly showing how they paid UGx 15 Million.
