Former champions Kyambogo University are looking to keep pace with surprise table leaders Kabale University when they travel to Entebbe to face University Of Kisubi in match day three of group A of the Pepsi University Football League.

Kyambogo University who lifted the trophy in 2018 have three points from two games after losing to Kabale University on match fa one but beating Mbarara University Of Science and Technology on match day two.

Kyambogo will need nothing less than a win if they are to keep up their hopes of finishing at the top of the table.

“Although weost our first game we managed to recover and win our second game and iam confident that we shall continue with this and win the next game against University Of Kisubi,” Kyambogo coach Deo Sserwadda said.

For debutantes University of Kisubi, the search for their first win in the Pepsi University Football League continues after losing their first game away to Mbarara University Of Science And Technology and their second game at home to Kabale University.

“The boys have been playing well but unfortunately we have been losing although with each game we keep on improving. But its only a matter of time before we win and i expect we shall do so against Kyambogo University.” UNIK manager Edward Mugyenyi said.
