The newly appointed state minister for sports in the country Hon. Denis Hamson Obua has paid a visit to Uganda Woodball Federation head-offices located on Balintuma road in Kampala district.

The minister has been welcomed by the UWBF president Paul Mark Kayongo, the federations general secretary Collins Ssemanda, Ndejje University Vice Chancellor Professor Eriabu Lubujjo and the Woodball captain Joan Mukoova.

The minister has been taken to the federation’s show-room where the woodball equipments on sale are kept since the sport manufactures its own equipments.

The honourable minister has been escorted by the general secretary of National Council of sports Dr. Bernard Patrick Ogwel.

“I want to thank the Uganda Woodball Federation for having well functioning offices as well as proper structures that take the sport forward” Minister Hamson Obua addressed the press in the boardroom.

Uganda Woodball Federation is among those whose activities have been affected by the Corona Virus scandal. They had a schools championship that was to take place at Airforce Primary School this weekend and Ndejje Open Woodball Championship that was scheduled to take place at the end of this month.
