It was interesting to watch the people at the Office of the Prime Minister-OPM who had donated towards the noble cause of fighting against COVID -19 in Uganda pay no attention to the social distancing rule of 4 meters.
The elites struggled to be captured by the media after donating huge chunks of money and food relief items to the National Taskforce.
The strange part was how much they kept close pushing against each other while handing over stuff to the OPM officials just to be seen for their massive donations despite being momentarily reminded by the Prime Minister to keep a distance.
It was messed up as the donors stayed close to be captured in the pictures while journalists rubbed shoulders in the hustle to have good pictures and videos.

Aside from that The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II donated one hundred million shillings -100.000.000 to the Government of Uganda as a contribution to the National Task Force to help them in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
The dummy Cheque was handed over to Prime Minister Dr.Ruhakana Rugunda by David Wasajja the prince of the Buganda kingdom the youngest son of the late Kabaka Muteesa II, on behalf of the Kabaka.

Besides the cash donation, the Kabaka has also donated Relief food items and protective materials for health workers to fight COVID-19 in Uganda among these include 100 bags of posho flour,100 Tanks,100 Masks, sanitizers among other items.
Wasajja also delivered a brief message from the Kabaka Muwenda Mutebi II in a statement he read encouraging the public to continue following the measures in place by keeping a distance, washing hands regularly and staying home.
The Kabaka hailed members of the public who had adhered to President directives and asked for vigilance.
Wasajja noted that he believes Uganda has the resources and capacity to manage the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among other companies that gave cash donations and food include Tororo cement, Mandela group, Tiang Tang, Sarayi group, among others.
Dr.Ruguda noted that the team expected to look after these funds will be appointed by the president and will be announced this week to make sure all the money being collected is accounted for and serves the purpose of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
