Renown yellow bus passenger and events mogul Balaam Barugahara has distance himself from allegations that he was behind Chameleone’s woes with URA.
Earlier this week, URA impounded Jose Chameleone’s State of the art Land Cruiser V8 over Tax earliers.
In a clip that made rounds on social media while the tax collectors were confiscating the ride, Balaam was over heard giving orders to squeeze Chameleone and whoever was obstructing the process.
Balaam acknowledges that indeed he knew about the URA operations but says he was on phone talking to his boys who were on duty.
“..my boys had informed me that Bryan White was using his guards to chase the away. So i asked myself whay shouldn’t he be arrested for interfering with the operation?”
But says that being the fact that URA had tipped me off and other media houses to witness as Chamili was squeezed, there was no need to threaten journalists on duty.
“Chameleone is my all time favorite artist that’s why he never abused me in his post”, Balaam fusses in an interview with a local TV station before adding; “..i even talked to his dad and i promised him that all will be well”.
