COVID-19 is stinging hard neighboring Tanzania forcing the Ministry of Education to postpone the Advanced Certificate for Secondary Examinations Education-ACSEE until further notice.
Tanzania closed all schools and colleges to slow down the spread of COVID -19 in a country that has claimed 10 lives and infected over 280 people.
Senior six students were expected to sit their final exams starting on May 4th, 2020, but it won’t happen.
Parents and students have been confused about whether the ACSEE will continue as planned or not as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Leonard Akwilapo on April 22, 2020, responded and confirmed answers to questions from parents and form six students about where they stand with the final exams.
