President Yoweri Museveni has warned people living on shores of Lake Victoria to vacate or they risk being swallowed.
President Museveni made a stopover at Kitubulu, Katabi Town Council on Entebbe Road.
Museveni observed that the water levels for Lake Victoria now stand at 13.4metres, one point less than the highest ‘we have ever obtained (13.41metres in May 1964)’.
The President said: “Encroachers on Lake Victoria land should vacate before they are ‘swallowed’.”

He cited three key issues of emphasis amidst the deadly corona virus in the country. Uganda has 100 cases confirmed by the ministry of health.
