Ofwono Opondo came with a plan to stop Dr. Kizza Besigye!
Ofwono literally positioned himself to counter Dr. Besigye’s lethal attacks on government’s Covid-19 plan.
The FDC leader told viewers of NBS Tv Frontline show that government does not have a working plan for Covid-19.

Dr. Besigye recounted: “Covid-19 didn’t arrive here by accident. It was declared a pandemic in January and arrived here in March. Any serious person should have prepared. What is the Ministry of Disaster Preparedness doing in our country?”
He scoffed: “The restrictions that have been put during the lock down must have objectives. I don’t know what the lock down objectives were. It is against those that we analyse what we have achieved and where we are.”
The former Presidential candidate raged: “It seems the only objective is to slow down the infections. Why are we slowing down the infections? So that we build capacity in the medical facilities. I would love to know how many equipment have been put in place since lock down.”
OO launched back at him by hailing: “I want to thank Besigye for complying with all the measures. He has been saying he has a government of his own, but now he is complying with measures of the real government.”
Dr. Besigye slated: “At the end of the day, all Ugandans may get corona virus. Once you delay the spread, you must have a plan to protect the country. Once the virus enters the body. How have you prepared the bodies of Ugandans?”
Besigye questioned: “I think we don’t know how many people have been killed by Covid-19, some people have died as a result of Covid-19. The numbers of people dying from other diseases because they can’t reach hospitals are unbelievable.”
OO retaliated: “It is absurd that Besigye is a medical doctor! But I think after several years of not practicing medicine, he no longer fits. Besigye might be a medical doctor but a bad one.”
Dr. Besigye went on: “They have taken ICU units that were for other patients and reserved them for #COVID19. If you have other diseases and you need ICU, you will die.”
OO hit back: “It is absurd that Besigye is a medical doctor! But I think after several years of not practicing medicine, he no longer fits.”
FDC leader said: “I believe Parliament has become a rubber stamp but I don’t agree with Museveni governing the country as a warlord.”
OO charged: “Besigye has been saying Parliament is a walking stick of Museveni. I find it funny that he is suggesting Covid-19 should be managed through a Parliament that he says is useless.”
OO added: “Besigye says the president doesn’t respect Parliament anyway. I think Besigye is trying to be clever by half and we shouldn’t allow him.”
