Yesterday afternoon NBS TV launched the “Political Command Center” ahead of the 2021 general elections.

Senior Political reporter Joseph Sabiiti also marked his return to the station to report the 2021 polls.

Mr Sabiiti had quit NBS TV in September 2019 and joined Kansanga-based NGO, Action Aid International as communications officer.

With the launch of the political command center, NBS TV put together an extensive plan to cover elections in the whole nation, the station also committed to availing all its resources both human and technology to ensure it’s viewers are kept updated.

According to reports, Sabiti has been imploring his former boss Kin KariIsa for a second chance as things couldn’t move as he thought while at Action Aid.

Sabiti would later lobby for a job at Urban Television which is owned by New Vision. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 spoilt his move.

Calling him a prodigal son, KariIsa allowed Sabiti to return since he is one of the finest political reporters the viewers have been missing on the screen, Especially, his live commentary.

Insiders now intimate that Sabiiti will be taking home a whopping 3 Million per month excluding other lucrative field allowances
