Uganda Premier League club Police Fc have unveiled former Uganda Cranes player Tonny Mawejje and the player is expected to help the team come back to its glory days.

The box-to-box midfielder has signed a two years employment contract for the Abdallah Mubiru coached side.

Mawejje is expected to inspire more experienced players to join Police Fc as they strengthen their team for the upcoming season.

The experienced midfielder has been a free agent since leaving Qatar where he played for Al Arabi sports club last year.

Mawejje has previously played for Masaka LC Fc, KCCA Fc, Police Fc and URA Fc in Uganda.

He has made 83 appearances for Uganda Cranes despite last playing for the national team in 2017 Africa Nations Cup finals held in Gabon.
