Bashir Mutanda is edging closer and closer towards signing for Uganda Revenue Authority football club.

Mutanda is currently a free agent following the expiration of his contract with the 16-time league champions which he joined in 2018.

Last season Mutanda scored two league goals and in 2018/19 campaign he netted 13 league goals, it is believed that he has already agreed personal terms with the tax collectors to join them.

mutanda has previously played for Buikwe Red Stars before joining Vipers Sc in 2016. He has also had two loan spells at Kirinya Jinja SS (now Busoga United) before joining the 16-time league champions Villa.

In case the deal materializes, Mutanda will join his former teammates Ashiraf Mandela and Benjamin Nyakoojo at Villa and Vipers respectively.

Last season, URA FC finished the league season with 40 points collected from 25 games played.
