Express Fc has signed Uganda Cranes international center back Murushid Jjuuko on a one year deal.

However, the 26 year old ex Simba Sports club, Sports Club Victoria University and Wydad Casablanca defender is free to move on once an opportunity comes in from another club of his choice.

Jjuuko has been a free agent since the termination of his contract at Moroccan Botola League giants Wydad de Casablanca though clubs like Vipers, KCCA FC and Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have been knocking on the door.

Sources close to this website indicate that Jjuuko’s move to Express was mostly engineered by the new club CEO Isaac Mwesigwa and there is a clause that allows him to move to any club at any time that will table a good offer.

Jjuuko has become a usual starter at Uganda Cranes where he has been part of the two previous AFCON tournaments playing at both the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
