Sports Club Villa are now with an obligation to strengthen its squad ahead of next season and by so doing they have recruited two players to fill the players exodus at Villa.

The two players include goalkeeper Meddy Kibirige and youngster midfielder Geoffrey Oyirwoth Goffin and both have signed a contract of two years each.

Meddie Kibirige a former Mutundwe Lions player joins from Tooro United who were relegated last season comes with vast experience and will the void left by Samson Kirya who is rumored to have joined Wakiso Giants.

The Sand Cranes goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige is expected to deputize the Uganda U-23 goalkeeper at SC Villa Saidi Keni who has of recent renewed his contract with the 16-time league champions.

Goffin  is a former student at Buddo SS who at one time joined Express FC though things failed to work out for him after failing to agree with the former coach George Ssimwogerere last year.

Sports Club Villa lost a number of players like Ambrose Kirya, Samson Kirya, Bashir Mutanda among others.
