Today the 11th of August marks exactly 9 years ever since our beloved local musician now turned politician Bad Bobi Wine walked down the aisle with his lovely wife Barbie Kyagulanyi at Rubaga Cathedral in what was seen as one of the most expensive wedding ceremonies of the decade.
And now to celebrate his milestone in marriage Bobi Wine has taken to social media to reveal one of well guarded secrets his father told him on the day he yes I do to Barbie Kyagulanyi.
Extracting from his fairly wordy Facebook post the now most outstanding member of opposition reveals how he father begged him to love Barbie not only for him self but for the sake of God and his entire family and clan
“Son, this ring means a commitment and promise to LOVE someone’s daughter the same way that I have LOVED you. I know you have already loved her for 10years but with this ring, it’s a convenant not only between you and her but between our two families and our communities. If you keep this commitment and promise, I will sleep well even in my grave”, said my father on 27th August 2011 in the dressing room.Dear Barbie Kyagulanyi, now you know that I LOVE YOU not only on my behalf but on behalf of my parents and all my people. It’s been 19years and you’re still the one that makes my world go around.Happy anniversary my love” Bobi Wine posted on his Facebook page .
