A 45-year-old wicked step-Dad has been thrown into Kyenda police coolers after he brutally defiled 3 of his stepdaughters all below the age of 5 years in a period of 2 weeks.
Edward Ndiyabakwata has been defiling the girls aged 5years,3 years, and 2 months old in the absence of their mother who was away.
Police mouthpiece Fred Enanga says the 3 children were severely torn and found bleeding with evidence of sperm around their genitals were taken to the hospital and subjected to the necessary tests and treatment.
Enanga says both the children and real parents are now undergoing counseling to help them recover from the unthinkable act.
According to statistics by police in the Kampala metropolitan area,547 girls have been defiled during the period of lockdown alone.
The records show that July had the highest number of defilement cases at 175, followed by June with 163 while May and April had 124 and 85 cases respectively.
