Police and LDU personnel have deployed at Revival church Kawala to contain large numbers of church members and loyalists that have crowded at the church to mourn Pastor Yiga Agustine with no social distancing.

This comes after defiant mourners have refused to wash their hands and wear masks.

Police were forced to push people outside the church to have their body temperature tested and wear face masks.

From the time of his Death, Hundreds of people started gathering at Revival Church this morning. Some of the mourners have arrived from far with heavy bags to stay for days until the pastor is buried.

The church members have continued to praise Yiga as a true man of God who inspired them

Pastor Yiga succumbed to liver complications at Nsambya Hospital today at midnight where he had been admitted for 4 months.

Yiga is survived by 8 legally known children although there are unconfirmed conflicting reports at Kawaala of women who are reportedly alleging he fathered their children, that remains to be exponentially investigated

Pastor Yiga had reportedly willed to be buried five days after his death on the church land in Kawaala next to his late mother’s grave.

The lifeless body of Pastor Kawaala is yet to be taken for a postmortem at Mulago City Mortuary it arrives at Kawaala for burial preparations.
