The Criminal Investigations Directorate-CID is investigating a man for impersonating the first son Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba to trick naïve persons of their hard-earned cash.
The trick star identified as Alfa Musoke, managed to con people of Shillings 100 million and two vehicles from over 62 Ugandans at home and abroad before he was netted by police.
Musoke, who has now been thrown into police cells at Jinja Road police station, reportedly tricked people into believing he was Muhoozi claiming he had the power to secure several jobs in Canada, the US, and Europe.

Most of the conned victims claim they were told about Musoke through a 3rd party and directed to him and later told to provide security in form of a car or money.
The CID Spokesperson, Charles Twine, says CID is currently carrying out investigations that involve interviewing all the victims to gather credible evidence.
He however says Musoke has been charged with obtaining money by false pretense and attempting to smuggle people abroad.
