The Uganda Police Force has vowed not to rest until all the perpetrators of last week’s bloody riots have been properly dealt with.

Cops have continued to crack down on suspected goons following intelligence info and CCTV cameras after they revealed that  300 goons instigated the #FreeBobiWine riots that left 40 people dead and scores fighting for their lives.

These random operations have left traders in a state of Panic since last week as cops continue to raid the market, throwing vendors into police cells.

The traders claim plain-clothed men armed with guns are also carrying out arrests which creates more fear among them.

Some of those released accused security agencies of torturing them while in detention.

The Police spokesperson Fred Enanga said last week that they managed to nab 7 ring leaders who instigated others to burn tyres and block roads with heavy stones.

He said they distributed tyres to their flashpoints and hotspots, using Motor vehicles and Boda Bodas.

Another 5 were picked up by police on Sunday as cops stormed Kisseka Market in downtown Kampala.

Patrick Onyango, the Spokesperson of Kampala Metropolitan Police, says John Ddamulira a trader importing and selling car spare parts within the market was arrested.

He says cops also busted a man who destroyed  CCTV cameras at the market during the riots to destroy evidence.

Besides the above, hundreds of people have been arrested countrywide following the Free Bobi riots while more than 45 people have been killed.
