Kyadondo East member of Parliament Hon Robert Kyagulanyi has once again been left lamenting like a helpless widow after Police in Kibaale District reportedly used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse off his rowdy supporters amidst claims that he was not following the set electoral commission guidelines to try and combat the spread of Covid-19.

Upon learning that Bobi Wine was set to hold a massive rally in the central business area of Kibaale, the DPC area commander strategically deployed all his troops to counter attack NUP’s planned activities.

As it was Police’s initial plan not to allow the singling legislator to talk to his supporters, Bobi Wine was safely whisked away from town as his fans got tear gassed and fired at by a no nonsense Police Force.

After getting frustrated  by Police’s action to stop his rallies Bobi Wine took to his Facebook and lashed out at the men in grey for being unfair.

”Earlier heavily armed military personnel and police officers blocked us from addressing the people of Kibaale district as scheduled. They used teargas and bullets to disperse our people who resisted the bullying of these men! They are now doing everything to frustrate our planned event in Hoima! It is very sad to see that a regime, which came here so glorious and loved is now so scared of the people. The mistake any leader can make is not to read the signs and the times. Someone close to Gen. Museveni, tell him to wake up and realise that Uganda is ready for change. None of what he does will save him from an inevitable, imminent fall.” Bobi Wine posted
