For a long time, rumour was swirling around town that Winnie Nwagi and Swangz Avenue had fallen apart and once her contract expired, there was no turning back.
However, she managed to renew her contract and naysayers were left in shock shortly before Swangz Avenue’s boss, Julius Kyazze described her as one the most talented vocalists in the country.
She has now come out to boldly say that haters and critics wanted her to be shown the exit at the industrial area based Record Label but it all failed and she is therefore working hard to release even better music. “Critics wanted me out of Swangz Avenue but they don’t understand our business. Many were surprised when my contract was extended. I no longer mind the bad energy, I only think about releasing good music for my loyal fans,” she said.
