SuperSport viewers on DStv and GOtv can look forward to Matchday 5 action from the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League on the midweek of Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 December 2020.

SuperSport is your #HomeOfFootball and the ultimate destination for lovers of ‘The Beautiful Game’.

Tuesday 1 December is headlined by the meeting of Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano in Group A, with the Spanish side looking to avenge a heavy 4-0 defeat they suffered in Germany on the first matchday in October.

“Our performance was really good. We faced a tricky team but we dealt with them fantastically. We were so clinical in front of goal,” said Bayern coach Hansi Flick of his team’s performance against the Rojiblancos.

Tuesday also features Porto hosting Manchester City in a key Group C match which will see the English looking to complete a ‘double’ after their emphatic 3-1 win at the Etihad Stadium several weeks ago.

City attacker Ferran Torres has made a strong impression since his move to Manchester and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has been full of praise for the Spaniard: “He’s a great player. We’re happy to have a player like that, and Torres has certainly shown his value to the team.”

Wednesday 2 December features the rematch between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in Group H, with the French champions eager to set the record straight against the Red Devils after a 1-2 loss at Parc des Princes at the start of the group stage.

“It was a performance without intensity, without aggression, without getting the ball back, without counter-pressing. It was a bit bizarre,” said PSG coach Thomas Tuchel, who is under pressure to see the French side go deep in the Champions League again.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, Sevilla will look to make the most of home advantage against Chelsea in Group E, the meeting of Borussia Dortmund and Lazio at the Westfalen Stadion promises to be a thriller in Group F, and heavyweights Juventus and Barcelona will be aiming for three points against Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros respectively.
