A fire breathing Museveni has warned anybody with ears never to engage in riots similar to those on 18th and 19th November after the arrest of Kyagulanyi in Luuka district.

Museveni has declared that such riots will not repeat in Uganda because of the country’s full-bodied security forces.

Museveni has also fired at Kyagulanyi for trying to prove he is untouchable yet he is doing criminal acts like violating laws.

“We should not have a country of rioters. If Kyagulanyi was arrested, his supporters should have waited for him to be taken to court like it was done. The idea that any politician is untouchable and that if he is arrested people riot is not acceptable and must never be repeated,” he warned.

He says rioters seized the opportunity of a calm police force that handled them with soft gloves to wreak disaster, but never again.

He says Uganda’s security is beyond police officers.

“Criminals just see policemen and think that is the security of Uganda. You can do whatever you want but you are not going to disturb Uganda. This will never happen again. Anybody with ears should hear and nobody should ever attack a person wearing the uniform of NRM. Perpetuators have tested the consequences of playing with fire. We are ready for any eventualities,” he said.

The President warned leaders to stop exposing members of the public to the dangers of COVID-19 by holding mass gatherings in complete disregard of the guidelines put in place by the government.

“This one is incredible. I cannot stand to wave by encouraging these people as if they are doing the right thing. It is incredible for people who say they want to be leaders.”
