Two goals scored in the last minutes of the game by Daniel Sserukuma and Paul Mucurezi got the venoms their first league win of the season.

In the 30th minutes, Ibrahim Orit almost put the hosts in the lead after the former Mbarara forward pounced on a loose ball but Musa Docca made a last minute clearance to ensure the first half ended levelled

Having limped off almost at the end of first half, defensive midfielder was replaced by Bobosi Byaruhanga at the start of the second half.

Shaban wasted a brilliant chance in the 50th minute after the striker rose high to head David Bagoole’s well driven cross but Shaban failed to connect well with the ball.

Seven minutes to the death of the game, Paul Mucurezi levelled matters for the hosts after he slotted onto Denis Mwemezi’s well calculated cross from the left.

Two minutes afterwards, Daniel Sserukuma found the winner when he placed the ball into the back of net after Shaban brilliantly controlled the ball and passed it into Sserukuma’s way.

Vipers’ Mzee Daniel Sserunkuuma was selected as the Pilsner Player of the month in the match against Kitara football club.

Vipers have now garnered their first win and now move to four points collected in their two games while Kitara have now lost their third game in a row.
