When Nigerian trending stars, Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and briefly jailed for holding a music concert that violated SOPs in Munyonyo a few days back, a lot of things happened and of course singer Big Size Bebe Cool was in the mix.
For starters, Bebe Cool took to his Facebook page and vowed to stop the concert from taking place. Within no minute he silently pulled down the post and boom! the concert went on as planned without any sabotage.
The next day, it was all noisy as UG artists demanded for answers why authorities would allow foreign artists to freely hold a music show yet government banned on public rallies and music concerts due corona! Omah Lay and Tems were aligned before Makindye magistrate court and after they were sent to Kitalya Prisons.
Hashtag Free Omah Lay and Tems spearheaded by Nigerians spread like wild fire on social media and luckily enough, it served to purpose and the pair were released. Well, wanting to steal the show like always, Bebe thumped his chest and claimed he was the brain behind Omah and Tem’s freedom and of course the public somehow agreed.
