Residents in Malongo sub-county in the Mayuge district woke up to the shock of a dead body of a 40 year old man hanging on a tree.
The deceased, a father of six children reportedly decided to call time on his life after he tested positive for HIV/aids.
The grieving wife says her husband had not shown any sign of illness prior to committing suicide but she confirms receiving information from credible sources that he had tested positive for HIV.
The dead body was discovered by area residents hanging on a tree with a rope and the local authorities were notified of what transpired.
The area LC1 Chairman Robert Maibi said the deceased was found hanging on a tree behind his house.
